Xtan Sunless New Arrivals 2026: Obsidian Aura, the Sinners Starter Box and Private Label Powder
Some clients walk out of the tent glowing golden. Others, the ones with pink or red undertones, need a bronze that doesn't tip toward warm. X-Tan Sunless now has a solution aimed squarely at them, with a green-ash base the brand says neutralizes that pink and red.

Over the past year the Temecula, California brand has added a new solution, a ready-to-work starter box, two streamlined solution kits and a private label powder. GlowTrials went through every recent listing on October 20, 2026, and sorted out what each one is, what it costs and who should look first.
New Solution: Obsidian Aura
This is the headline. Obsidian Aura is listed at DHA 15% with a green-ash base. Every other Xtan solution tops out at 14% DHA, and none of the others uses a green-ash base. The brand says the base neutralizes pink and red undertones for a balanced, sun-kissed bronze without the warmth, and that one light-to-ultra-dark blend can cover most of an artist's clients.
The product details are refreshingly specific:
- Best for: skin type 2 and above, especially clients with pink or red undertones who want a golden result without an orange cast.
- Rinse guide: 1 hour for light, 2 for light-medium, 3 for medium, 4 for medium-dark and 5 for dark, with full development over 24 hours.
- Coverage: 1 to 2 coats per client, about 1.5 to 2 oz per application.
- Listed features: Eco-Certified DHA, sweat resistant, paraben free and an OSHA compliant formula, with aloe, green tea, Kakadu plum, sodium hyaluronate, bamboo and acai extracts on the ingredient list.

New Kits: Fewer Bottles, Clearer Choices
Two compact solution sets landed in 2026, both in Xtan's signature white box and both listed with natural DHA, sweat resistance, vegan and cruelty-free status, and paraben- and gluten-free formulas.
- The Simplified Bronzite Solution Kit (May 2026): "three DHA strengths, one streamlined system," pitched as a way to get repeatable results without juggling five or more solutions. It was $65 when we checked.
- Simplified Contour Bundle (July 2026): "two shades, total control," a paired duo for depth and dimension work. It was $47.60 when we checked.
Both were showing reduced prices, and Xtan's refund policy says goods on sale can't be refunded, so treat either one as a final purchase.
New for Studio Owners: Private Label Manifesting Powder
Manifesting Powder, the brand's talc-free finishing powder (4 oz, $44), joined the shop in February 2026. In April, a private label version followed: the same 4 oz powder, sold so you can put your own studio's name on it. Pricing is $44 for one, $198 for five and $352 for ten.

Before You Order Something New
Xtan's return rules are strict, so new products deserve a careful first order. The refund policy allows returns of unopened, unused items within 7 days of delivery, minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping, and goods on sale can't be refunded.
